Assistant Professor Dr. Atch Sreshthaputra has been researching energy
use and environmentally informed architecture for over a decade.
As a result of his expertise in this area he has become a key instructor
in courses related to energy and environment offered by the Department
of Architecture, in the Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

Apart from teaching responsibilities, Assistant Professor Dr. Atch has contributed to the community as a consultant to many organizations regarding energy use and environmental issues. In addition, he has promoted architectural concepts to the public by being a guest speaker in various public talks, seminars, and forums.

This book is a compilation of his writings from various sources including blogs, magazine articles, and columns in the Bangkok Post. His work focuses on living in harmony with the environment in the 21st century. As a result, his readers will gain a better understanding of the importance of environmental awareness< in residential architecture.

The Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University would like to thank Assistant Professor Dr. Atch for compiling these valuable articles and giving permission to the department to curate the publication.
